Towards a sustainable society
The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are international goals established by the United Nations in 2015 with the aim of realizing a sustainable and better world by 2030.
It consists of 17 goals and 169 targets, and is now attracting attention worldwide as goals that companies should work toward for the next generation.
We conduct our business activities in accordance with the spirit of the "Mitsubishi Three Principles"* that are at the root of our company, and management philosophy: "We will continue to evolve and create a truly rich environment and culture with our creativity and technological capabilities."
These are in line with the principles of today's SDGs.
For us at Architectural Design, many of the SDGs can be achieved by creating better buildings, cities, Landscape Design and other living environments through projects for clients who want to make the world a better place.
We would like to utilize our own knowledge and technology in projects and actively support these clients.
Going forward, we will make our corporate activities visible through the SDGs, and with an eye toward the future of 2030, we will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through technological innovation and our own creativity.
* The Mitsubishi Three Principles: Shoki Hokou (care for oneself), Shoji Komyo (understand the business), and Ritsugyo Boeki (trade). These are the spirit of Mitsubishi since its founding, summarized by Koyata Iwasaki, the fourth president of the company.
Initiatives toward SDGs through business
SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals):
The SDGs are international goals consisting of 17 goals and 169 targets that were adopted by the United Nations in September 2015. They not only address issues in developing countries, but also address issues that are becoming more serious in developed countries, such as climate change, energy, health, and employment. To achieve these goals, action is required from various stakeholders, including governments, civil society, and companies, both in developed and developing countries.
