One of Japan's leading outlet malls, located across from Kansai International Airport. We were in charge of the design and Construction Supervision of a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Izumisano-Iwade Line (prefectural road) and connects the second floors of the new and existing buildings.

The structural type is a post-tensioned PC simple through girder bridge, and the material used is ultra-high strength fiber reinforced concrete, which has achieved a deck thickness of 130 mm and a web thickness of 80 mm (central span cross section).

In addition, through discussions with Osaka Prefecture, the name of the pedestrian bridge, "RINKU PREMIUM OUTLETS BRIDGE," was displayed. Furthermore, the colors of the pedestrian bridge and the letters were selected with consideration given to the sense of unity between the existing and new buildings and how the name of the pedestrian bridge would stand out against the background color.
