Seikei Gakuen Grounds (Renovation)
Seikei Gakuen Grounds (Renovation)
The work involves renovating the existing clay ground into an all-weather athletics facility and rugby ground.
The athletics track has been expanded to eight lanes, and the outfield and surrounding areas have been paved with an all-weather rubber chip and urethane composite elastic surface. In accordance with the official standards (four types) of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations, the facility also includes shot put, long jump, high jump, and pole vault.
The infield is covered with long-pile artificial turf that complies with official rugby and soccer regulations and has high water-permeable properties.
Additionally, infrastructure facilities such as the ground headquarters building (spectator stands, broadcasting room, toilets) and night lighting have also been renovated and improved, resulting in the completion of a sports facility that boasts the highest level of any school facility in Tokyo.
