In order to resolve the problem of "steep gradient and poor visibility" at this intersection, which is used by many cars coming to the outlet, we carried out road repair work. While implementing a gradual lane restriction plan, we raised the road surface by up to 2m over a length of approximately 200m and built a retaining wall up to 7m above ground level. We improved visibility, eased the gradient, widened the road, and built a new left-turn entrance road to accommodate the increase in visitors from the smart IC. We also provided consulting on not only technical aspects but also inherent issues with the land, such as sorting out the complex land conditions for the road transfer of this intersection, building a land acquisition scheme, and leading the coordination between related parties such as businesses, landowners, and government, and we were able to quickly resolve the issues and carry out road repair work.
