Announcement of organizational changes and changes in executive officers
Mitsubishi Jisho Design (Head Office: Tokyo, President & CEO: Takeo Takeuchi) announces the following organizational changes and personnel changes.
I. Organizational changes effective April 1st
1. Establishment of the "Data Center Planning Office"
A new "Data Center Planning Office" will be established within the Engineering Group's Business Division with the aim of accumulating technology and know-how to further expand orders for data centers, which are expected to see active construction investment.
2. Establishment of the "Social Design Department"
In order to solve social issues in urban development, we will establish a new "Social Design Office" within the Consulting Group's Business Division to secure and develop human resources that go beyond existing functional areas, consolidate know-how and information, and promote measures to expand the solution business in the future.
3. Reorganization of the "Yurakucho Project Office"
The Yurakucho Project Office was established in 2021 to provide technical support to Mitsubishi Estate Group for the reconstruction of the Yurakucho area and to expand orders for large-scale mixed-use development projects, which are the company's area of expertise. However, in order to further strengthen collaboration with related projects in the future, it will be reorganized within the Project Promotion Department.
4. Establishment of the "Kamiseyaya Project Office"
In order to further strengthen collaboration with Mitsubishi Estate Group and the project structure for the Kamiseya Project, a new "Kamiseyaya Project Office" will be established within the Project Promotion Department.
5. Establishment of "Global PM Unit"
A new "Global PM Unit" will be established within the Global Design Office to strengthen consulting functions, including coordination with overseas consultants and designers required for overseas-related projects, project management work other than design required for inbound development for overseas clients, and client support.
6. Establishment of "Carbon Neutral Lab"
A "Carbon Neutral Lab" will be established within the R&D Promotion Department, which will be positioned as a hub organization for all efforts toward carbon neutrality in the construction sector, with the aim of collecting information, including legal aspects, consolidating knowledge, and strengthening proposal capabilities.
7. Establishment of "Digital Design Lab"
A new "Digital Design Lab" will be established within the DX Promotion Department with the aim of promoting facade engineering, including computational design and environmental simulation, and providing design support.
8. The "Carbon Neutral Promotion Office" will be renamed the "Carbon Neutral Planning Office."
In conjunction with the establishment of the "Carbon Neutral Lab" (see 6 above), in order to clarify roles, the "Carbon Neutral Promotion Office" within the Renovation Design Department will be renamed the "Carbon Neutral Planning Office" and will continue to work on ZEB.
