Mitsubishi Jisho Design was founded in Marunouchi, Tokyo, over the course of more than 130 years, and has responded to the needs of each era by applying the technical practices that began here to the design of architecture and spaces in other parts of the world. The firm has expanded its sphere of activity beyond Japan to include East Asia in China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam, and is now expanding into India and the Middle East.

Starting with the establishment of an office in Shanghai, China in 2007, we established local subsidiaries in Shanghai in 2011 and Singapore in 2016. Based on the extensive network and know-how we have built in each region, we offer a wide range of services, from regionally specialized urban planning and TOD ^* wide-area development proposals to Architectural Design, planning and consulting, Renovation, Construction Management and Interior Design.


*TOD (Transit Oriented Development): Development that aims to create a sustainable city that does not rely excessively on automobiles by combining commercial facilities, offices, and housing, public facilities such as parks and city halls, and public transportation such as buses, centered around transportation hubs such as train stations.
