Engineer Hirasuka from the Mechanical MEP Engineering Department spoke at the "Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2019."

The Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2019 (SBE19 Tokyo) was held at the Komaba Campus of the University of Tokyo from August 6th to 7th, 2019, and our Mechanical MEP Engineering Department engineer, Mr. Hirasuka, took to the stage as a presenter. This conference was organized by the United Nations Environment Agency (UNEP) and others to discuss climate change issues and sustainable development, and was very international, with over 300 participants from 26 countries around the world.
The presentation was about air conditioning energy simulations at 600m above ground, and will contribute to the design of our series of skyscrapers, including the Tokiwabashi Project. In addition, this paper was a joint study with SOM | Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, one of the largest general design firms in the United States, to which Hirasuka Engineer was dispatched, and incorporates global knowledge of skyscrapers. Many questions and opinions were received from academics and design engineers from Asia and Europe, and lively discussions continued beyond the session time and into the connection party.
We also participated in a poster session in collaboration with the Akimoto Laboratory of the Shibaura Institute of Technology, providing an opportunity to showcase our company's advanced technological capabilities to the world, including the "Air-Soarer," an autonomous wind speed control device that we jointly developed.
