Reconstruction plan for the former Tokio Marine & Nichido Yodoyabashi Building.
By inserting an office building that exudes playfulness, friendliness and innovation into the streets of Yodoyabashi, a representative business area of Osaka, we aimed to create a workplace that gives a special feeling to everyday business scenes.
The surrounding river and the dynamic "flow" of cars are woven into the building as design motifs in the form of pleats and drapes, and the vertical frames of the precast concrete exterior walls are overlapped and arranged in a staggered pattern to create light, pleated shadows on facade.
