Grand Front Osaka
Grand Front Osaka
This is a redevelopment project by a joint venture of private developers including Mitsubishi Estate. The "Umekita" district is the former freight yard site in the north area of Osaka Station, a former district of approximately 24 hectares known as the "last prime location in Kansai." The first phase of development will see the development of a multi-purpose complex that will include commercial facilities, a knowledge capital, offices, a convention center, a hotel, residential units, and a plaza.
As a project manager for Mitsubishi Estate, we provided a wide range of technical support (CM) services to various developers for the entire development project. We were also in charge of the design of the South Building, Tower A and the Grand Front Osaka Owners Tower.

South Building/Tower A
The South Building/Tower A maintains a sense of unity with the entire town while avoiding monotony by using curves and organic forms in some of facade and interiors to create a soft expression.
facade of the high-rise office building has a unique look with air intakes that act as a natural ventilation system, and a huge pillar named "Wishbone" at the front welcomes visitors, creating a space that creates a sense of anticipation as the entrance to the town.
Grand Front Osaka Owners Tower
Grand Front Osaka Owners Tower pursues comfort with the concept of "living in the hotel itself," offering a new lifestyle for urban living.
The symmetrical three-story exterior was designed to create a sense of hospitality as a residence, breathing life into the block. The 45m line that is unified throughout the block, the connection to the urban corridor, and the views of water and greenery have created an environment that is in harmony with the entire block.
