SHONAN SHIRAYURI GAKUEN Kindergarten

A kindergarten with a tsunami evacuation facility. We supported the business continuity plan and administrative discussions related to tsunamis, formulated concept design, selected the design and construction company, and were in charge of management from construction to completion. This is the first project to receive a subsidy for the Fujisawa City Tsunami Evacuation Facility Construction Project, and is equipped with a storage warehouse, generators, etc., and allows evacuation of approximately 1,600 people, including kindergarten and elementary school students and local residents, from the maximum anticipated tsunami. It is an attractive kindergarten building with a spacious space where children can spend their time safely and comfortably, with gentle light streaming in.
