Ikebukuro Station Area Infrastructure Development Review Project
A JV of four companies was commissioned by Toshima Ward to carry out consultancy work to consider future urban infrastructure development and formulate various high-level plans for infrastructure development in the Ikebukuro Station Surrounding Area (approximately 150ha), a specific urban regeneration emergency development area. In order to realize the international art and culture city that Toshima Ward aims to become, the various parties involved have deepened discussions on the state of station facilities and private facilities, not just public spaces such as streets, parks, and station plazas, and have compiled the "Ikebukuro Station Area Infrastructure Development Policy 2018" and "Ikebukuro Station Core Zone Guidelines 2020."
