Aloft Tokyo Ginza
Aloft Tokyo Ginza
Located in an office district with Ginza Chuo-dori Avenue at its back, this is the hotel brand's first venture into Japan. It uses a "paper lantern" motif as a gentle connection to the hustle and bustle of the city center, and is illuminated in 12 colors unique to Japan depending on the time and month, giving it a constantly changing impression. The bands of light without shadows are the result of the concave waist-high walls above and below the windows. The horizontal design ensures soundproofing while eliminating vertical mullions from the windows, and also takes into consideration operability such as lighting inspections, resulting in a plan that balances usability with design.
