Kinjo Gakuin University E1 Building
Kinjo Gakuin University E1 Building
The new school building is the final piece of the redevelopment plan linking the neighboring east and west university campuses. It was planned as one of the facilities surrounding the chapel, the symbol of the university, in an arc, and integrated with the bridge connecting the facilities. The shimmering, drape-like walls soften the afternoon sun while ensuring views and brightness in the student lounge inside the building, creating a comfortable environment. Lecture rooms and laboratories of different uses and sizes are efficiently arranged to allow students to move between classrooms. Openings have been provided at the ends of the corridors, bringing the abundant nature of the campus inside.
