Real time people flow data utilization project in the OMY district

As part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Digital Twin Realization Project, we have released a web service called "TOKYO Digital Twin Smooth NAVI - Otemachi, Marunouchi, Yurakucho Area Edition" that provides real-time congestion information for above-ground and underground passages in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho districts, and supports safe travel while avoiding congestion. This tool visualizes real-time pedestrian flow prediction data, including not only above ground but also underground, overlaid on map information. It provides routes that avoid congestion during everyday life and safe routes in the event of a disaster in a form suitable for users (demonstration ended on February 25, 2022). In preparation for the release, we considered the content of the service, considered the name and screen design, and responded to the acquisition of calibration data, and after the release, we conducted a survey to verify the usefulness, service content, and the possibility of expanding the target area.
