Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19

In response to the state of emergency declared by the Japanese government on April 7 and requests and instructions from various local governments, Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. has been prioritizing the health and safety of its employees, customers, and stakeholders, and from April 8th has been implementing a system in which all employees at its domestic bases (head office, branches in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Chubu, Kansai, and Kyushu, and offices in Hiroshima and Kagoshima) are, in principle, working from home or waiting at home.

In accordance with this, external meetings and consultations will generally be held via web conferences or telephone. In the event that a meeting becomes unavoidable for business reasons, we will obtain prior consent from the relevant executives of each group and the agreement of all parties involved, and will carry out the work as safely as possible.
In addition, following the expansion of the areas covered by the state of emergency to cover the entire country on April 16, from April 20 we have closed the front reception desks at our domestic bases (head office, branches: Hokkaido, Tohoku, Chubu, Kansai, Kyushu, offices: Hiroshima and Kagoshima) for the time being until we have resolved this situation.

External phone calls will be accepted from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at all bases. However, telephone response times will return to normal hours (9:15 am to 5:45 pm) at branches in Tohoku, Chubu, and Kyushu, which are not located in prefectures under specific alert, from Friday, May 22nd, and at Kansai branches from Monday, May 25th.
For details, please contact each branch by phone.

We will continue to thoroughly manage the health of our employees and take measures to prevent the spread of infection in accordance with the guidelines of the government and local governments.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers and related parties by this measure, and we ask for your understanding and consideration of the current situation.
End
