Shinryo Corporation and Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. have introduced the Variable Air Volume Coanda Air Conditioning System (Patent No. 6453951) for the first time in the construction of Shinryo Shinjyo Building in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
Coanda air conditioning is an air conditioning method that utilizes the Coanda effect, which causes air to flow along the ceiling, to deliver conditioned air without ducts. By installing a variable air volume Coanda air conditioning system in Shinryo Shinjyo Building, it has become possible to improve the ventilation efficiency of the entire room while maintaining high ceiling height, resulting in a more comfortable and energy-efficient office space.
