"TOKYO WOOD TOWN 2040: Mountains, Trees and Tokyo" to be held

GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi will be holding a special exhibition "TOKYO WOOD TOWN 2040 Mountains, Trees and Tokyo" from Thursday, April 18th to Sunday, May 19th.
Focusing on the current state of mountains, trees, and cities, we will look into ways to transform Tokyo into a "WOOD TOWN" through designs that connect the mountains and the city and bring about circulation between them.
The exhibition will take place at five locations in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, Yurakucho and Yaesu areas, with each location having a different theme and showcasing the work of a wide range of players, including architects, designers, artists, researchers, manufacturers, developers and construction companies.

We plan to exhibit the following three types of exhibits:

• "Tokio Marine Group New Head Office Building" (Shin-Nippon Sekiseki Building, Tokyo Midtown Yaesu
• "TSUGINOTE TEA HOUSE" & "Regenerative Wood #1" (Shin-Nisseki Building)
