Tokiwabashi Project
post-COVID Work Style
Outdoor spaces will be utilized to the fullest extent as a measure to respond to the new normal in post-COVID era. In addition to a large plaza (approximately 7,000 m2), a waterfront space along Nihonbashi River, and Tokiwabashi Park, which is scheduled to be expanded to the north side of the block, Torch Tower (Building B) will be expanded with an aerial walkway (approximately 5,000 m2) stretching approximately 2 km from the 1st to 8th floors and a rooftop garden (approximately 2,500 m2) at its end, bringing the total area of outdoor spaces to approximately 2.0 ha (approximately 20,000 m2). The vast outdoor space will enrich work and life by serving as an outdoor office where you can feel the fresh air while working, and as a place to refresh yourself from time to time.
Tokiwabashi Tower (Building A) plans to provide shared services to facilitate smoother and maximize value of activities in real places, including an elevator destination forecast system, the introduction of mobile security authentication, seat reservations, orders, and payments in the cafeteria on the 3rd floor, and ICT services such as reservations for conference rooms on the 8th floor. All of these ICT services will be consolidated into apps and websites for building employees, aiming to enable stress-free use of various services.
