OMY: Changing the way people move and work
As the market environment changes at an accelerating pace due to advances in ICT technology and changes in individual values, we are now in an era where companies are required to continually create added value through innovation in order to achieve sustainable growth.
In order to create new added value, creative ideas are essential, and high-quality business exchanges where knowledge and knowledge intersect are important. Nowadays, there is a demand for third places where innovative business workers can gather, and Global Business Hub Tokyo in Otemachi Financial City Grand Cube and 3x3 Lab Future in Otemon Tower ENEOS Building are playing that role.

Otemachi, Tokyo, is home to the offices of some of Japan's leading companies and organizations. Since 2003, Mitsubishi Estate has been leading a project to rebuild old large buildings and redevelop the area into a business hub with even greater international competitiveness. The project aims to revitalize the city by gradually developing an area of approximately 17.4 hectares and carrying out relocation and rebuilding in a chain reaction, without interrupting the business activities of landowners and tenant companies. The third project, completed in 2016, included the construction of two buildings: the Grand Cube, consisting of offices on the upper floors and shops on the lower floors, and the HOSHINOYA Tokyo accommodation facility. Located at a location that connects the first and second projects, the building is attracting attention not only for its public space that is integrated with the surrounding area to create a lively atmosphere, but also for its role as the first disaster prevention base building in Japan to serve as a disaster prevention facility for the area.
