With the expansion of Mitsubishi Estate Asia (MEA) within Southeast Asia, MEA established its Vietnam subsidiary, Mitsubishi Estate Vietnam Company Limited, at the heart of Ho Chi Minh City in 2020. Several design themes were considered for the execution of the interior, which was to evoke a "Natural State of Being" and "Sense of Belonging" while ensuring maximum functionality of the office. The design direction was aligned with the philosophy of MEA, of respecting the culture of the locality of wherever they are based, enhanced through a Japanese approach and ethos. Formal spaces were created for business purposes while active and playful spaces contributed to a homely atmosphere. The space was to be minimalist and decluttered, occupied by touches of locality and context.
