In line with the basic mission of the Mitsubishi Estate Group of contributing to society through urban development, Mitsubishi Jisho Design is committed to tackling the major challenge of creating a truly sustainable society. To this end, we are pursuing a wide range of programs and initiatives designed to promote and enhance our organizational capacity, with the ultimate aim of maintaining our standing as a sought-after presence in the world.Addressing a Range of Modern-Day Issues and Challenges with our Organizational CapabilitiesMitsubishi Jisho Design was founded in 1890 with a mission to establish the Marunouchi district of Tokyo as a modern business center. Over the more than 130 years since, we have made a significant contribution to urban and architectural design and development in Japan and elsewhere, continually evolving in line with the demands of the times.In today's rapidly changing and increasingly complex social environment, the role of architecture and urban development must change and adapt as needed, while the associated role of design firms is also undergoing a significant transformation.『まちづくりを通じて社会に貢献する』という三菱地所グループの基本使命のもと、私たち三菱地所設計は「持続可能な社会の実現」という大きな課題に正面から向き合い、より一層の組織力を引き出す取り組みや幅広い試みを展開し、これからの世の中に求め続けられる企業を目指してまいります。現代の多様な課題に組織の力で挑む1890年、東京・丸の内を近代日本のビジネス街とすべく誕生した当社は、以来130年以上にわたってそれぞれの時代の要請に応えながら、国内外の都市や建築の設計を通して社会の発展に寄与してきました。私たちを取り巻く社会環境が急速に変化し、ますます複雑化しつつある現代においては、まちづくりのあり方、建築の役割も柔軟に変化していくことが求められており、これに携わる設計事務所の役割もまた、大きく変化していく時代にあると言えます。
