We participated in the construction project in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur (opened in June 2022), the fi rst Zepp venue in the ASEAN region, as a construction manager (CMr). When the project started, the client did not have a local operation base. To realize the project with the same level of quality as in Japan, the team was organized with technical members who had worked on Zepp hall projects, in addition to a CMr with extensive overseas experience, driving the process comprehensively from concept design to opening.To achieve the high-level “Zepp quality” that the client pursues, we followed the Japanese method. At the same time, we proposed selection and contract methods and an organizational system with clearly defined roles and communication channels that matched the local business practices and industry circumstances.
