Year Book 2023Project ViewSustainability▪築60年のオフィスビル長寿命化の一環▪自社オフィス以外にも働く環境をもつ、新しいワークスタイルの実現▪都市農園体験やヨガイベント等によりコミュニティを形成し、持続可能な地域社会を促進Project ViewSKYLAB, ROOFTOP OF OTEMACHI BUILDINGProject Data013Completion Location Building Use Site Area 10,496m²Total Floor Area 111,273m²Rooftop Area Floors Structure 1958年竣工、地上9階建ての「大手町ビル」の屋上空地を、ビル就業者をはじめとする地域のワーカー向けワークプレイスとして活用すべく再整備しました。竣工当初は利用されていたものの、長い間使われていなかった屋上を、「超高層ビルに囲まれた谷間」とマイナスに捉えるのではなく「時間の経過によって生成された、現代的で都市的な空中の中庭」とプラスに捉え、新しいワークスタイルを実現できる場所のひとつとすることを目指しました。The vacant rooftop of the Otemachi Building, a nine-story building completed in 1958, was redeveloped as a workplace for people working in the building and in the area. Instead of regarding the rooftop space, which was used when the building was first completed but had been unused for a long time, as a negative space surrounded by skyscrapers, we viewed it as a modern and urban sky garden created by the passage of time.
