Year Book 2022Project ViewProject Data017Completion Location Building Use Site Area 2,860m²Total Floor Area 5,494m²Floors Structure 真宗大谷派岡崎別院に隣接するホテルの計画。背景に見える東山の自然と、社寺が集積する通りに調和した「ゆらぐ」ような二次外装、「もうひとつの参道」のようなアプローチ、別院庭園を広げるようにデザインした日本庭園を望むロビー・レストランなど、この場所ならではのゲストの体験創出を目指しています。内装設計者や次世代の伝統工芸作家との協業により、建築、ランドスケープ、インテリア、工芸を通して、京都の境内地におけるホテルのあり方を提案しました。インテリア設計：乃村工藝社RENSA hotel project located next to the Shinshu Otaniha Okazaki Branch Temple. We aimed to create a guest experience unique to the place through features such as an “undulating” secondary exterior that harmonizes with Higashiyama’s nature visible in the background and the street clustered with shrines and temples, an approach reminiscent of “another entrance path to the temple,” and a lobby restaurant overlooking a Japanese garden designed as an extension of the Branch Temple’s garden.
