Based on the history of the bank established to encourage the development of the local textile industry, the concept of “spinning (connecting)” was used to realize both a publicly open architecture that will continue to be cherished by the local community and a workspace that will generate active interaction among the bank employees. We placed public spaces that the locals can use freely, such as a cafe, library, and gallery, directly next to the bank's sales lobby. In the public space, we extensively used locally-produced materials to spread information about the local potential. Our Construction Management Department also participated in the project to design the workplace.
