At Gotemba, the civil-engineering design team proposed to improve circulation by developing new land and bridging it with the existing zones At Rinku■ additional stores and park greenery (Seaside Park) were constructed to connect the two adjacent waterfront parks, creating a pedestrian network through a public-private partnership. Thanks to the collaboration between civil engineering and architecture, the rich environment with the view toward Mt.
