It consists of 10 buildings that make the most of the terraced terrain, which is covered with lush greenery despite its proximity to the central urban district of Hangzhou The design is based on three themes: the utilization of the natural environment to a healthy work style, the coexistence and dignity of a calm exterior and a rich interior, and high functionality. “Ali-Loop”, a circular corridor connecting all the buildings, includes a cafeteria, hall, sports facilities, and atrium, triggering employee interaction and creativity with its street-like public sensibility. The large terrace also blocks direct sunlight from reaching the interior and offers the workplace a rich view. While giving employees the freedom to choose how and where to work and providing them with relaxation and stimulation, the project also reduces air-conditioning energy consumption and addresses BCP in the event of a disaster.
