As one of the facilities forming an arc around the chapel, the university’s symbol, the new building was designed together with a bridge connecting different facilities. The undulating, drape-like facade provides views and light while mitigating the western sun to create a comfortable environment for the student lounges inside. Lecture rooms and laboratories of different uses and sizes are arranged to allow students to move efficiently between classrooms.
