R&D［ R&D ］R&D推進室は「テクノロジーと生活を結び、豊かな空間づくりを実現する」というも目標を掲げ、2018年4月の発足以降、広範なテーマに取り組んできました。本コーナーで紹介している、実用性の高いBIMシステムの開発や変風量コアンダ空調システムは、その成果が結実したものですが、それ以外にもイノベーションを起こすようさまざまな実験的取り組みを行ってきました。The Research and Development Promotion Oce was launched in April 2018 under the slogan “linking technology and life and creating vibrant spaces”. Since then, it has explored a wide range of research themes. Achievements introduced in this section include a broadly useful BIM system and a variable air volume (VAV) air-conditioning system using the Coanda eect, as well as various experimental projects aiming to produce innovations.Year Book 2019The Research and Development Promotion Oce invites innovators in various elds to talk about the near future. In 2018, thought-provoking talks that went beyond the field of architecture included discussions of “The perspective from architectural industrial design”, “Postwar buildings and the future of redevelopment”, and “Sketching a scene from the future – the force of one sketch”.We are developing technology to support the next generation of ultra-high-rise buildings – the cityscape of the future. We are also working on technologies for use in new kinds of spaces, such as renovations that add value to existing stock and plazas to make city life more enjoyable.Amid much discussion of work style reforms and work-life balance, we are working on adaptations of a high-productivity “exciting office” where people gather and new forms of creativity are born. We are using the MJS Tokiwabashi Project Oce in Section 835 of the Otemachi Building as a trial space for a leading edge oce that is constantly changing.This is an era of change for design processes. While preserving what is good in traditional design culture, we are proposing new processes that use BIM and IoT to deliver the spaces that customers want, eciently and with high quality.DiscussionsState-of-the-Art Technologies and Smart ArchitectureLeading Edge Ofce SpaceProcess Development大手町ビル835区 常盤橋プロジェクト室Ｒ＆Ｄ推進室では、講演会を開催し「少し先の未来」を切り拓くべく、さまざまな分野のイノベーターの話を伺っています。2018年度は「建築インダストリアルデザインからの視座」、「戦後のビルからこれからの再開発を考える」「未来のワンシーンを描く（１枚のスケッチの求心力）」など、建築の分野を超え、示唆に富むお話を伺うことができました。次の世代の超高層ビルを見据え、未来の風景を支える技術開発に取り組んでいます。また、ストックの価値を変えるリノベーションやこれからの都市空間をもっと楽しくする広場など、空間づくりを先端テクノロジーと合わせて研究していきます。「働き方改革」「ワークライフバランス」がうたわれる中、生産性を高め人が集まって新しい創造が生まれる「ワクワクするオフィス」を考えていきます。R&D推進室では、常盤橋プロジェクト室（大手町ビル835区）を改装し、常に変化するオフィスの実験空間として活用していきます。設計のプロセスも変革の時代です。価値ある伝統的な文化を残しながらも、BIMやIOTの活用を通して、クライアントが望む空間を、品質にこだわって、かつ効率よく設計する「つくり方」について、提案をしています。Discussions先端技術とスマート建築これからのオフィス空間プロセスデベロップメントTokiwabashi Project Oce, Section 835 of the Otemachi Building009
