Year Book 2018Project View上野フロンティアタワーProject ViewUeno Frontier TowerJR御徒町駅に近い旧松坂屋南館の跡地に立つ、店舗・シネマ・オフィスで構成される複合ビル。上野公園、小売店舗集積エリア、御徒町駅を結ぶ人の流れに接する立地特性を生かし、建物から賑わいを表出させ周辺の賑わいとつながることを目指しました。それぞれの用途の個性を表現するため、明確なスリットで分節、素材やディテール形状の工夫により表情豊かな外装とし、賑わいを感じられるようにしました。This is a mixed-use building containing retail, cinemas, and offices, located near Okachimachi Station on the site of the former Matsuzaka Department Store South Building. It contributes to the vitality of its location – a street with high pedestrian traffic connecting the station, a retail area, and Ueno Park – with a striking facade design. To express the various building uses, the facade is articulated with clear-cut slits.
