1. Create a vision for the future

The year 2013, when Astro Boy was active, has passed, and the year 2019, when Blade Runner was released, is just around the corner.* Of course, the world we see today is not as it was depicted in the original.
While the distant future, like in anime and movies, is important, we also envision a more distant future and think about what a prosperous future looks like, one that addresses our concerns.

2. Utilizing over 100 years of big data

It has been about 130 years since our founding in 1890 (Meiji 23). We have an archive of buildings we have been involved in and know-how based on experience that has been passed down through the ages. We use this data as a foundation for building construction.

3. Urban Development 3.0

Do you have a favourite place in town, a place you like to return to?
The city belongs to everyone. Let's all think about it, build it together, and use it together.
We think about creating a comfortable space for each individual and the infrastructure to support it.

4. Super High-Rise 3.0

Having been involved in the first generation of skyscrapers, Sunshine 60, and the second generation, Yokohama Landmark Tower, we aim to create the next generation of skyscrapers. We will work on developing the technology to support never-before-seen scenery, including the "Tokyo Station Tokiwabashi Project."

5. Super Square 2.0

Unlike other countries, historically there was no concept of a plaza in Japan. It is expected that many plazas will be built in Japan in the future. We will explore the concept of Super Plaza 2.0, a space where people can gather, stand, and spend a comfortable time even when there are no events or festivals.

6. An exciting office

With the trend of "work style reform" and "work-life balance" being touted, the "nature of the office" is also changing. What is a truly good office? At R&D, we reexamine the essence of the office. We think about "exciting offices."

7. Be creative with how you make it

During construction, soil was excavated at the deepest part of the building while simultaneously building the floors.
This construction method shortens the construction period by erecting steel frames in parallel above ground. This is commonly known as the "reverse construction method."

8. → ∞

Now, let's change the way we look at it. If we tilt our head to the side at the eighth theme, it becomes "∞" (infinity). By changing the way we look at things in this way, the themes will expand infinitely.
